KL will soon get another “super-iconic” high-rise building.
Right in the heart of Bukit Bintang, a five-star serviced condominium called the Millennium Residence will soon stand elegantly next to the newly refurbished Grand Millennium Hotel (formerly The Regent KL by Four Seasons).
The 42-storey high-end condominum will have an additional 15-storey crown, with a total height of 228m.
To be built by Singapore tycoon Kwek Leng Beng to complement his first Grand Millennium hotel brand under London-listed Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Plc’s (M&C) stable of four brands – Grand Millennium, Millennium, Copthorne and Kingsgate. M&C is a subsidiary of Singapore-listed City Developments Ltd, which is part of the tycoon’s Hong Leong conglomerate in Singapore.
Millennium Residence is designed by world renown architect, Carlos A. Ott & Associates, whose work includes Opera de la Bastille in Paris, the National Bank of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, One Shenton, The Solitaire and the Cliveden in Grange luxury apartments in Singapore.

The exterior facade will be modern and curved, in three colours: gold, silver and dark grey and lots of glass and steel. It will have a total of 135 units with one, two and three-bedroom units.
It will be launched in the first half of next year.
